In 2012, after the Kumbhabhishekam of Kundrathu Kumaran Temple at Dean side, we noticed a simple need – devotees would visit the temple after work, take part in the poojas, and by the time they returned home, it would be 8 or 9 pm. Cooking a meal that late at their home was a challenge. The solution was born from compassion – a humble temple canteen serving fresh, wholesome, and affordable vegetarian food so devotees could come for darshan, pray, enjoy a comforting meal, and return home stress-free.
